A few minutes before Henri Nouwen
We did not go up the CN Tower, we did not go to the Central Island, but we are glad to spend a short while to meditate and pray before Father Henri Nouwen’s grave. It was a sunny day, we found his resting place at last. There, a simple and wooden cross was erected, it was surrounded by beautiful flowers. We saw a wood bench standing six feet away from the grave, that was built by the students in the Day Break Center. A few words crafted on the bench, “Beloved Henri”, that shows the immeasurable love and remembrance.
Near the entrance of the
St. Augustines’ cemetery, there is a special grave erected to remember the
countless lives of aborted babies. This is a world
of cruelty that we live in. We mourn for the pains of all mothers, fathers
and families involved. We also feel the pain of heart of Heavenly Father.
